The GTX 330 transponder is power ed on by pr essing the STBY , AL T or ON keys, or by a r emote avionics master switch (if applicable). After power on, a start-up page is displayed while the unit performs a self test. (See your Garmin dealer for softwar e upgrades.

PRESSURE AL T : Displays the altitude data supplied to the GTX 330 in feet, hundreds of feet (i.e., fl ight level), or meters, depending on confi guration. FLIGHT TIME: Displays the Flight T ime, controlled by the ST AR T/STOP and CLR keys when Automated Airborne Determination is confi gured as normal.
Altitude T rend Indicator When the ‘PRESSURE AL T’ page is displayed, an arrow may be displayed to the right of the altitude, indicating that the altitude is increasing or decreasing. One of two sizes of arr ows may be displayed depending on the rate of climb/descent.
