APPENDIX B: GPS 10X AND WINDOWS SERIAL MOUSE ISSUE Problem: It is possible for Windows to incorrectly interpret the NMEA 0183 outpu t of the GPS 10x as the output of a M icrosoft Seri al BallPoint Mouse. Whe n that happens, Windows loa ds drivers for the Serial BallPoint Mouse.
4. Select the Serial Port to which the GPS 10x is connected. Select Auto to have the progr am automatically determine the Baud Rate, or select Manual to manually select the Baud Rate of the GPS 10x. Cli ck OK when done. Click the Connect icon , or select Comm > Connect t o connect to the GPS 10x.
APPENDIX C: SENSOR CO NFIGURATION SOFTWARE SNSRCFG confi gures the GPS se nsors based on user-sel ected param eters. Some application features include the ability to down load GPS sensor configuratio n, maintain different configu rations in files, and perform GPS s ensor confi gurations quickly wit h the use of one function key.
File Menu The File Menu allows you to open, save, and print sensor configur ation s. The items in the File Menu work like most Windows-b a sed pro grams. Comm Menu The Comm (Communicat ion) Menu allo ws you to set t he port num ber, baud rate, and t hen connect a nd disconnect from the sensor.
