6 Forerunner 310XT Owner ’s Manual Getting Started Step 3: Acquire Satellite Signals It may take 30–60 seconds to acquire satellite signals. Go outdoors to an open area. For the best reception, ensure that the face of the Forerunner is oriented toward the sky .

22 Forerunner 310XT Owner ’s Manual History History Y our Forerunner automatically saves history when you start the timer . The Forerunner can record up to 1000 laps and approximately 20 hours of detailed tracklog data (when recording approximately 1 trackpoint every 4 seconds).

Viewing the map Before you use the navigation features, you may want to congure the Forerunner to display the Map page.

There are three ways to adjust the calibration: distance, GPS, and manual. Distance Calibration For best results, the foot pod should be calibrated using the inside lane of a regulation track.
