A ttention Mac OS X Users G-SPEED Q is set up at the factor y for use with Mac OS X systems. If you ar e running Mac OS X, G-SPEED Q will mount on the OS X desktop right out of the box. If it becomes necessary to re - format G-SPEED Q f or Mac OS X, go here.
F or an explanation of supported RAID levels, please ref er to Appendix A, “RAID Levels Explained” . Note : Unlike the G-SPEED eS and G-SPEED eS P ro , you cannot include more than one unit in an y RAID con guration.
9. Select the R AID 0 radio button t o change the RAID level from RAID 5. Select RAID 5 if you wish the G-SPEED Q to be changed to RAID 0. Click the Con gur e button. 10. A dialog box will launch to w arn you that all data will be erased by completing this function.
