2 1.2 T ra nsdu cer The performance of t he echo sounder depends upon the tr ansducer positi on. A place least affect- ed by air bubbl es should be select ed since turbulen ce blocks the soundi ng path. Further, select a place least i nfl uenced by engi ne noise.
3 Thru-hull mount water temperat ure sensor T-02MSB, T-03MSB Select a suitable mounting location considering the following points: • Select a mid boat flat position. The sensor does not have to be inst alled perfectly perpendicu- lar; however , the location should not be such that the transdu cer may be damaged when the boat is dry-docked.
4 Through-hul l mo unt water temperature/speed sensor ST-02MSB, ST02-PSB Select a suitabl e mou nting locati on considering the fol lowing: • Select a mid-boat flat position. The sensor does not have t o be instal led per fectly perpen dicu- lar . The sen sor must not be located whe re it mi ght get d amaged in dry- docking operati on.
