These instructions provide details on using the FPCCC27/ FPCCC27P Ha rsh Envir onment Case (HEC). The FPCCC27 HEC is designed for use w ith your Stylistic ST4000 T ablet PC (with active digitizer); the FPCCC27P HEC is designed for use with your Stylistic ST4000P T ablet PC (with passive digitizer).
2 • If yo u use the T ablet PC both with and without the HEC, a screen prot ec tor can be le ft in place on the system. If the syste m will be used only in the HEC, remov e t he screen pr otector on the system for better viewing . • If y ou use a pen t ether , attach it t o one of the D-rings on the back of the case.
3 Installing the T ablet PC in t he HEC T o install y our T ablet PC into the HEC, position the case face do w n as sho wn in Figure 2. Open the t op flap. The t op flap is secured by a long strip of V elcro® that is attached to the back of the HEC. U nzip the two side flaps.

T o ensure good adhesion, clean the ext erior surface of the HEC w indow with a soft cotton cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol before installing th e screen pro- tector . If streaking oc curs, ge ntly buff the surface with a clean, soft cloth.

7 Additional HEC Information The ends of the elasticized hand straps ha ve D-rings to which you can attach the shoulder strap . T o secure the shoulder strap, attach the str ap clips to two of the D-ring s. The HEC can be carried vertically or horizontally , depending on ho w you orient the clips.
