3 Y our dishw asher cleans by spra ying a mixture of hot water and detergent through the spra y ar ms against soiled surf aces. Each cycle begins with a pre-drain. Next, the dishw asher fills with water cov ering the filter area. W ater is then pumped through the filter and spra y ar ms.

6 Preparing and Loading Dishes Dish Preparation Scrape a wa y large pieces of f ood, bones, pits , toothpicks , etc. The continuous filtered w ash system will remov e remaining f ood par ticles. Bur ned-on foods should be loosened bef ore loading. Empty liquids from glasses and cups.

8 Dishwasher Dispenser & Deter g ents • Use only fresh automatic dishwashing detergent. Other types will cause ov ersudsing. • Add detergent just bef ore star ting cycle. • Store detergent in a cool, dr y location. Moist or caked detergent will not dissolv e proper ly .
9 Dishwasher Dispenser & Detergents (continued) Rinse Aid Rinse aid greatly impr oves drying and reduces water spots and filming. W ater "sheets" off dishes rather than f or ming water droplets that cling and leav e spots .
10 Care and Cleaning Overfill Pr otector — keeps dishw asher from ov erfilling and is located in the left front cor ner of the tub . • Clean occasionally with household cleaner containing vinegar or bleach to dissolv e any b uildup . • Ov erfill Protector should move up and down freely about one inch.
11 Care and Cleaning (continued) Property Damage Hazard F reezing temperatures ma y cause w ater lines to rupture. Be sure all supply lines to and circulating lines within dishwasher are protected. F ailure to do so could result in proper ty damage. Winterizing A dishwasher left in an unheated place should be protected from freezing.
12 Connecting and Disconnecting the P or table/ Con ver tible Dishwasher The portable/convertible dishwasher must be connected to a faucet and electrical outlet each time it is used. Follow directions on this page to properly connect dishwasher. IMPORTANT: Make sure door is latched before moving dishwasher.
13 Getting W ater While Dishwasher is Running You can get water from the faucet while the dishwasher is connected. However, avoid getting water when the dishwasher is filling or draining. 1. Press red button on coupler to get the water you want. The faucet is set on hot, adjust faucet if you want cold.
14 Changing Color P anels Cut Hazar d Metal door panels are sharp and should be handled with care. Wear gloves to protect hands. Failure to do so can result in injury. 3. Grasp top of upper panel(s) and pull up until clear of divider trim str ip . Then bow panel(s) until clear of side trim.
