3 Español Français English DO NOT ALLOW CABLES TO BECOME ENT ANGLED IN SURROUNDING OBJECTS. Arrange wiring and cables in compliance with the manual to prevent obstructions when driving. Cables or wiring that obstruct or hang up on places such as the steering wheel, gear lever , brake pedals, etc.
4 Español Français English INST ALLA TION Due to the high power output of the MRV-T420/MRV - T320, considerable heat is produced when the amplifier is in operation. For this reason, the amplifier should be mounted in a location which will allow for free circula- tion of air , such as inside the trunk.

6 Español Français English CONNECTIONS Before making connections, be sure to turn the power off to all audio components. Connect the yellow battery lead from the amp directly to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery . Do not connect this lead to the fuse block.
7 Español Français English In the bridged mode, connect the left positive to the positive terminal on the speaker and the right nega- tive to the negative terminal of the speaker . Do not use the speaker (–) terminals as a common lead between the left and right channels.
8 Español Français English Cautions on wire lead connections When using third-party wire cables (power supply cord), use the supplied hex screws and the hex wrench to sim- plify the connection. Refer to the description below for the proper procedure.
9 Español Français English CONNECTIONS CHECK LIST Please check your head unit for the conditions listed below: a. The head unit does not have a remote turn-on or power antenna lead. b. The head unit's power antenna lead is activated only when the radio is on (turns off in the tape or CD Mode).
10 Español Français English MOUNTING THE TERMINAL COVER • The product’ s appearance can be improved by mount- ing the terminal cover on the main unit after installa- tion. • Mount the terminal cover after the connections have been made and you have checked that operation is normal.
11 Español Français English SWITCH SETTINGS Input Gain Adjustment Control Set the MRV-T420/MRV -T320 input gain to the mini- mum (4V) position. Using a dynamic CD as a source, increase the head unit volume until the output dis- torts. Then, reduce the volume 1 step (or until the output is no longer distorted).
