Assembly Instructions Shaft Assembly (A) 1. Locate the low er shaft (A1) into the upper shaft (A2) . 2. Grasp firmly and hold steady the lower shaft. Using the Plant & T ree Guard (Minitrim Auto XT only) The Plant and T ree Guard (J1) allow s the trimming of grass close to plants and trees without damaging them with the cutting line. 1. Flip the guard down as illustrated in Fig G . 2. Use the trimmer around trees (H) and near plants.

Wind line onto spool in the direction of the arrow s on the top of the spool. Care should be taken to ensure that the line is neatly coiled on the spool (M) .
