1 561 Infrared Thermometer Introduction The Fluke 561 Infrared Thermometer (hereafter, the Ther mometer) can deter mine the surface temperature by measuring the amo unt of infrared energy radiated by the targ et’s surface or by contact using a thermocouple probe.
