I NSTALLATION I NSTRUCTIONS Please read these instructions before attempting to install this ra nge Inspection and Unpacking Check the range carton for visible damage. If there is damage or even creases in the carton, contact the carrier, request an inspection and file the appropriate freight claim.
STEP 1 REMOVE PACKAGING Before moving t he rang e indoor s: Remove out er c arton and pac king material from the shipping base. The range is now ready f or removal from the woode n base. STEP 2 Due to the wei ght of these ranges , use a doll y wit h soft wheels to move t his range.
STEP 5 CONNECTING THE RANGE TO ELECTRIC WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE CONNECTED AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 1 OR 2. IF A CORD IS UTILIZED IT MUST BE RATED AT 250 VOLTS, 40 AMPERES AN D CERTIFIED FOR USE ON HOUSEHOLD RANGES.

STEP 7 I NSTALLING THE B ACKGUARD – S EALED B URNER M ODELS N OTE : P LEASE READ ALL INSTR UCTIONS BEF ORE START ING INSTALL ATION . 7-1 Remove t he burner gr ates, gri ddle/grill and housing. 7-2 From the f ront of the r ange, r emove the Philli p screws in the rear of each burner pan (black pan where the top bur ners are lo cate d).

Be caref ul not t o damage the fl oor or entangle power cor d and gas fl exible tubing. 3. To adjust leveling legs, turn counter - clockwise to raise t he range; clockwise to lower.

ST EP 11 OVEN OPERATION GAS OVEN • Turn oven t hermostat kn ob counter clockwise to 350°. • The oven burner shoul d light wit hin 60 seconds. ELECTRIC OVEN • Turn oven t hermostat kn ob counter clockwise to 350° in bake position. I t will take a couple of minu tes befo r e a change in col or will occur to t he lower element.
STEP 13 CHECKLIST FOR SEALED BURNER INSTALLATION MAKE SURE ALL CONTROLS ARE IN THE “OFF” POSITION. Gas supply is “on” Electric power is “on” Check for proper seating of bur.
