Installation Instructions BEFORE YOU BEGIN CAUTION: Read these instructions completel y and carefully. COOKTOPS SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A SUIT ABLE OVERHEAD VENT HOOD.
I NSTALLATION I NSTRUCTIONS Please read these instructions before attempting to install this cooktop. Inspection and Unpacking Check the cooktop carton for visible damage. If there is damage or even creases in the car ton, contact the carrier, request an inspection and file the appropriate freight claim.
STEP 1 REMOVE PACKAGING Before moving the cooktop indoors: Remove outer carton and packin g mate rial from the shipping base. The cooktop is now ready for removal from the wooden base. STEP 2 To simplify handling and to reduce the weight of the cooktop: Remove the grates.
STEP 4 ELECTRIC CONNECTION This cooktop must be supp lied with 12 0 volt, 60 Hz. and connected to an individual, properly grounded branch circuit protect ed by a 5 amp circuit breaker or time delay fuse.
