20 If you ar e just starting an exercise pr ogram, choose a time of day that ’ s good for you and stick to it closely . T ry to do your Eclipse 1100HR workout thr ee times per week at first and then gradually pr ogress to four or five days a week.

15 10 Changing the tension The Eclipse 1 100HR has magnetic resistance which guarantees a smooth, quiet ride and featur es 8 levels of r esistance. Y ou can incr ease or reduce the r esistance by turning the tension adjustment knob, located on the upright column, below the electr onics console.

Adjust your hands up and down slightly to find the position most comfortable for you. Bend your elbows slightly so that your arms ar e not hyperextended or “ locked out ” .
