P6827pr-0920 BA TTER Y CHARGING Use the charger in dry locations only. Important Notes • Y our new battery must be charged for at least 18 hours before you use it in your vehicle for the first time. • We recommend that you start charging your battery before beginning assembly of your new vehicle.
8 P6827pr-0920 BA TTER Y CHARGING Charger Connector A B • Plug the charger connector into the batter y A . • Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. The power indicator lights B . Notes: - If power flow to the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, make sure the switch is “ON”.
ASSEMBL Y P6827pr-0920 Front Axle 4 • Slide a 7 / 16 " washer the right (passenger's) side of the front axle. • Fit a bushing, flat side first, onto the front axle. • Insert six #8 x 3 / 4 " screws into the front bumper and tighten.
10 P6827pr-0920 • Fit a mirror and mirror cover to an end of the dash assembly . Hint: Each mirror and mirror cover only fit on one side of the vehicle. If they do not seem to fit, try assembling on the other side. • Insert two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws into the mirror cover and tighten.
ASSEMBL Y P6827pr-0920 12 • Insert four #8 x 3 / 4 " screws into the dash assembly and tighten. • Fit the dash assembly onto the posts near the front end of the vehicle. 11 • Position the motor harness connector toward the front of the vehicle.
14 12 P6827pr-0920 • Locate the simulated radio on the dash. • Loosen two screws under the dash to remove the simulated radio. Set the screws aside. • Remove the simulated radio from the dash. • Loosen the screw in the batter y compartment door .
19 18 ASSEMBL Y P6827pr-0920 • Fit the tabs on the rear deck into the slots in the back end of the vehicle. • Insert two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws into the rear deck. Tighten the screws. 17 • Fit the long tabs on the hood into the slots in the front end of the vehicle.
14 P6827pr-0920 • Insert three black #8 x 3 / 4 " screws into the back of the seat and tighten. Note: Y ou will need to remove these three screws if you change the seat position later . 20 • T urn the vehicle over . • Insert two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws through the vehicle and into the rear deck.
ASSEMBL Y 15 P6827pr-0920 • Fit the Steering Column cap onto the end of the steering column. • Insert a #8 x 3 / 4 " screw through the large opening in the Steering Column cap and into the hole in the steering column. Tighten the screw . • T urn the vehicle upright.
16 P6827pr-0920 DECORA TION • Before applying the labels, wipe the sur face of the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or oils. • Place the labels exactly as shown in the illustrations. For best results, avoid repositioning a label once it has been applie d to the vehicle.
