• Locat e the soothing unit on the footrest. • Inser t a coin into the battery compar tment door and pr y the batter y compartment door off. • Inser t one “D” (LR20) alkaline batter y , as indicated inside the battery compartment. Be sure to plac e the batter y on top of the ribbon.
• Place the base tube on a flat sur face as shown. • P osition the lef t and right base wires as shown. Note the location of the colored tabs on the left and right base wires. • F it the lef t base wire into the base tube. • F it the right base wire into the base tube.
• P osition the footrest so that the soothing unit is upright. • While flexing the base wires to ward each other , hook the f ootrest onto the ends of the base wires.
• P osition the seat back tube above the base assembly . • F it the seat back tube completely onto the base wires. Assembly 3 7 Seat Back T ube Base Wire Base Wire.
• F it a retainer to the outside of the seat back tube, as shown. Mak e sure the socket in the retainer is upright. • Inser t a screw through the hole in the seat back tube, base wire and into the inside of the retainer . • Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriv er .
• P osition the pad above the frame with the blanket towar d the soothing unit. • F it the upper pock et on the back of the pad onto the seat back tube . • Lift the footrest. Fit the lo wer pocket on the back of the pad onto the footrest .
• F it the toy bar plugs into each retainer socket. • Unfasten a strap on the to y bar . • Wr ap the strap around a toy ring and re-fast en the strap. • Repeat this procedure t o attach the other two toys to the to y bar . • The to y bar is removable .

Loosen T o tigh ten the restrain t: • F eed the anchored end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop . • Pull the fr ee end of the belt . • Repeat this procedure to tight en the other belt. T o loosen the r estraint: • F eed the free end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop .
4 13 Set-up & Use • Pull the blanket down c ompletely . • F old the blanket under the footrest wire. • T uck the blank et into the pocket on the underside of the pad.
The pad is machine washable. W ash it separately in c old water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. T umble dr y separately on low heat and remov e promptly . The frame , toy bar and t oys may be wiped clean using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth.
