• Rotate the upper frame tube until it "snaps" into an upright position, as shown. Assembly 4 IMPORT ANT! Before assembly , inspect this product for damaged hardware , loose joints, missing par ts or sharp edges. DO NOT use if any parts are missing or broken.
Assembly 3 5 • Position the fr ame with liner so that the seat is over the front tube . • While pressing the buttons on the upper frame tubes , inser t them into the holes in the underside of the frame with liner . • Continue to insert the upper frame tubes into the frame with liner until you hear a "click" on both sides.
Assembly 5 6 Upper Fr ame Tu b e Upper Fr ame Tu b e • F it the pad seat back pocket over the seat back and fasten. • F it the pad seat bottom pocket over the seat bottom and fasten . B IMPORT ANT! Attach the provided pad (with r estraint system) to this product.
7 Assembly 7 Slot Slot Wa i s t Belts Pad • Pull the edges of the pad up slightly and insert the waist belts on the liner through the slots in the pad .
• Open the battery holder . • Insert four "C" (LR14) alkaline batteries as indicated inside the bat- tery holder . • Close the battery holder . • Locate the battery compartment door on the frame. • Loosen the screw in the batt er y compar tment door with a Phillips screwdriv er .
Battery Installation • Align the ridge on the battery holder with the groove in the battery compar tment. • Slide the battery holder back into the batter y compartment. • Replace the battery compar tment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriv er .
Battery T ips • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use . Always remov e exhausted batteries from the to y .
Securing Y our Child W aist Belt Restraint Wa i s t Belt 1 11 • Place your child in the seat. P osition the restraint between y our child’ s legs. • F asten both waist belts to each side of the restr aint. Make sure you hear a "click" on each side.
Loosen T o tighten the restrain t: • F eed the anchored end of the restraint belt up through the buckle to form a loop . • Pull the free end of the r estraint belt . • Repeat this procedure to tight en the other restraint belt. T o loosen the restraint: • F eed the free end of the restraint strap up through the buckle to form a loop .
Starting the Swing 13 Po wer Dial • T urn the power dial t o any of eight settings. • Give the seat a light push to start the swinging motion. Adjust the swing power dial to the desir ed swing motion setting. • If swinging stops while using a lower setting , tr y a higher setting.
Lights and Music! 14 • Slide the lights and music switch to: baby ac tivat ed lights and one song ; sound and lights off ; or parent activated lights and music . When baby pulls either toy on the ar ch, one tune plays along with twinkling lights. On this setting, six tunes (approximately 10 minutes) play along with dancing lights.
Room-to-Room Portability 15 • Make sure your child is properly secured in the swing seat. • With baby facing forward and outward , lif t the swing using the handle. • Carefully carry the swing to another room. Be sure to set the swing down on a non-elev ated , flat sur face.
T ake-Along 16 Seat Bottom Lift Seat Back Lift Seat Bottom • Tip the swing backwards the seat back down. • Unfasten the straps on the seat bottom. • Pull the straps fr om the loops on the seat bottom. • Press both tabs on the fr ame at the same time to release the frame base.
T ake-Along Lower F rame Tu b e • F it the straps on the seat bottom between the upper and lower fr ame tubes, as shown. • Wrap the str aps around the lower frame tubes and fasten the str aps. T o set the swing back up for use: • Unfasten the straps around the upper and lo wer frame tubes.
• The pad is machine washable. W ash the pad separately in cold water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. T umble dry separately on low heat and remov e promptly . The frame , liner and toys may be wiped clean using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth.
