Important Notes: • Y our new battery must be c harged for at least 18 hours bef ore you use it in y our vehicle f or the first time. • W e recommend that you star t charging your battery bef ore beginning assembly of your ne w vehicle . • The batter y must be upright while charging.
® • Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. Note: If pow er flow to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the batter y f or at least 18 hours. Ne ver charge the battery longer than 30 hours.
Swiv el Brack et Left Handlebar • Stand the vehicle body on its rear wheels . • Slide the left handlebar through the holes in the left side of the s wivel brac ket. Note: The left handlebar is marked “L ”; the right handlebar is marked “R”.
10 7 • P osition the v ehicle body upr ight. • Fit the dashboard onto the top of the s wivel brac ket. • Align the screw holes in the dashboard and s wivel brac ket. • Inser t two #8 x 1 1 / 2 " screws into the dashboard. • Tighten each screw with a Phillips scre wdriver .
11 Assembly • Fit the f ender onto the ends of the handlebars. (Make sure the end of the f ender mar ked FR ONT is facing tow ard the front of the vehicle.) • Slide the f ender up the handlebars to the fairing. • Fit one end of the front axle into a cap nut.
12 • P osition the front wheel between the handlebars . • Slide the front axle through the front wheel. 17 Assembly • Fit and hold an inner shock half to the inside of a handlebar . • Fit and hold an outer shock half to the outside of the same handlebar .
13 Assembly • P osition the v ehicle upr ight. • Apply headlight labels to the f air ing as shown. • Make sure the areas where the labels will be applied are clean and dr y . 19 18 • Slide the front axle through the handlebar . Note: If the front axle will not slide through the handlebar , the handlebar ma y be out of alignment.
#12 x 1 1 / 4 " Screw Shown Actual Siz e Assembly • P osition the handle so that it arcs aw ay from the handlebar . (The screw holes in the bac k side of the handle should f ace through the rear of the vehicle). • Fit the bottom of the handle into the storage compar tment.

• Lift the seat to access the batter y compar tment. 1 • Place the batter y upright in the batter y compar tment. Make sure the battery connector extends towar ds the rear of the vehicle. • Make sure a P ower Wheels ® 25 amp fuse in good condition is installed in the batter y .
17 Battery Installation • Rotate the lock f astener 1 / 4 turn using a slotted screw- driver to loc k the batter y compar tment. • T o make sure the lock f astener is lock ed, inser t the blade of the screwdriv er under the back of the seat and push down on the scre wdr iv er handle.
10˚ Incline should ne ver be more than 10° 5. Do not operate this v ehicle with more than one r ider , seated on the seating area. A child who is not sitting on the seat or who is standing on the v ehicle could fall off , cause a tip-ov er or bloc k the dr iver’ s view .
How to Operate Y our V ehicle 19 K Caring For Y our V ehicle L • Check all scre ws, retainers and protectiv e cov er ings regularly and tighten as required. Check plastic par ts on a regular basis f or cracks or brok en pieces. • During snowy or rain y weather , the vehicle should be stored inside or under a protectiv e cover .
Problem Possible Cause Solution V ehicle does not run Undercharged battery Charge the battery . A new batter y should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use.
V ehicle was running but Loose wire or loose connectors Check all wir es and connectors. Make sure the batter y suddenly stopped connector is tightly plugged into the motor harness connector , and that there are no loose wir es around the motors.
Problem Possible Cause Solution V ehicle runs sluggishly Undercharged battery Charge the batter y . A new batter y should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use.
Problem Possible Cause Solution V ehicle constantly blows fuses Wrong type of fuse used Y our vehicle requires a Power Wheels ® 25 amp fuse in the battery . Make sure the Power Wheels ® 25 amp fuse is properly installed. For best performance, do not use substitute parts.
