• Locate the batter y compar tment door on the table top . • Loosen the screws in the battery compar tment door with a Phillips screwdriv er . Remov e the battery compar tment door . • Inser t three “C” (LR14) alkaline bat- teries, as indicated inside the bat- ter y compar tment.
3 • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nic kel-cadmium). • Remov e the batteries dur ing long per iods of non-use. Alw ays remo v e e xhausted batteries from the toy .
4 • Lift the table top off the tab le base and remov e the legs from the tra y area. • P osition the table base upside-do wn on a flat surf ace. • P osition a leg upside down with the “X” and swirl patter ns f acing you. • Fit the end of the leg into the cor ner of the table base, as sho wn.
5 • P osition another leg upside down with the star and heart facing y ou. • Fit the end of the leg into the cor ner of the table base, as sho wn. • Press fir mly to fit the raised circle on the end of the leg into the large hole in the table base .
