3 2 • First lift the front rails and then push out the back r ails. Assembly • Place the side rails on a f lat surface. • Fit the crossbar tabs into the small rectangular opening in eac h side rail. Push the crossbar down completel y . • Insert two #4 x 20 mm screws into the cr ossbar and tighten.
4 Assembly • Insert the ends of the seat back tube (inside the pad) into the sockets in the front r ail. Push down on the seat back tube until you hear a “click” on eac h side. • Pull up on the seat back tube to be sure it is secur e. 5 Pad Seat Back T ube Socket Socket • Locate the pocket in the bottom of the pad.
5 Assembly 9 • Fit the toy bar c lamp to the top of the front rail. Push the toy bar clamp down to “snap” it into place. Hint: T o remo ve the toy bar , lift the edge of the clamp and pull to r emove. T oy Bar Clamp • Fit the toy into the slot in the top of the front r ail.
6 • T ur n the product face down. • Loosen the screw in the battery compar tment door and remov e the batter y compartment door . • Inser t one “D” (LR20) alkaline battery into the batter y compartment. • Replace the batter y compartment door and tighten the screw .

8 Setup T o prevent serious injury or death: • Use the upright position only when child has developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward. • Reclined position not recommended for children who cannot sit up by themselves (6 months approximately , until 9 Kg/20 lbs).

Note: If vibrations from the soothing unit become f aint, or if there are no vibrations, remov e the batter y from the soothing unit and dispose of it properly .
