3 Y our F isher & P aykel Wine Chiller Y our F isher & Paykel Wine Chiller The storage of wine is impor tant; as wine is a natural, perishable beverage the storage conditions impact greatly on the overall taste, quality and aroma of wine. It is therefore impor tant to store and ser ve wine correctly .
4 Installation instructions Installation instruc tions Please follow the installation instruc tions below to ensure your appliance operates correctly. P ower supply The appliance must be installed so that the plug is accessible. T o ensure that the appliance is not accidentally switched off, connect your Wine Chiller to its own power point.
5 Installation instructions Before first use Remove all packaging from inside the Wine Chiller . Clean the inside of the appliance with warm water and a little liquid dishwashing detergent to remove manufacturing and transpor tation dust.
6 Operating instructions Operating instruc tions T emperatur e Contr ol When the Wine Chiller is first turned on, it defaults to its red wine setting of 13°C (the light next to the “red wine” button on the display will be illuminated).
7 Operating instruc tions Storing red and white wine in the W ine Chiller The temperature varies within the Wine Chiller , creating different wine storage zones. W hen storing a combination of red and white wine in the Wine Chiller , the top three shelves, the bottom shelf and the drawer should be used for red wine storage.
8 ON/OFF Operating instruc tions Interior fan The interior fan will stop when the door is opened and will star t up again once the door has been closed. V entilation control Y our W ine Chiller is fitted with a ventilation control. This allows ambient air to enter and circulate through the Wine Chiller .
9 Operating instruc tions Shelving There are 9 wooden shelves and 1 wooden drawer for easy storage and removal of your wine. Larger bottles, or Magnums can be more easily accommodated by laying them across the shelves at the bottom of the chiller . T o remove the glide out shelves: 1 Pull to ex tend the shelf out completely .
10 Cleaning and maintenanc e W arning! T o avoid electric shock always unplug your Wine Chiller before cleaning. Ignoring this warning may result in death or injur y . Before using cleaning produc ts, always read and follow manufacturer’ s instructions and warnings to avoid personal injur y or product damage.
11 Cleaning and maintenanc e Replacing the light bulb 1 T o avoid elec tric shock , unplug your W ine Chiller before replacing the bulb. 2 Remove the light cover as illustrated (Fig . 7). 3 Unscrew the bulb and replace. Bulb specification: 220-240V ,15W ,E14 4 Refit light cover .
