1 Impor tant! Please read the entire set of instructions before installing the rangehood. This rangehood is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Y oung children should be super vised to ensure that they do not play with the rangehood.
2 Installation instructions Thank you f or purchasing a quality Fisher & P aykel rangehood. Each rangehood is tested and approved bef ore it leaves the factory, ensuring our high standard of quality contr ol is met.
3 Installation instructions Height of rangehood Please read the entire instructions BEFORE installing the rangehood. Ascertain the desired installation height of the rangehood. When installing the rangehood, the lower edge of the unit must be a minimum of 600 mm (650 mm for gas cooker) above the cooking surface.
4 Preparing the r angehood for installation Ensure the overhead cabinets ar e built according to F ig.5 (below). Before drilling an y holes, check that the area behind the sur face to be drilled is clear of an y electrical cables or pipes etc.
5 Mounting to cabinetry sides See Installation sheet provided. When mounting to the cabinetr y sides, please ensure the c orrect dowels and screw s are used. These can be found in the bag labelled “SIDE FIXING” . Note: using the incorrect screws f or the side -fixed mounting method may cause damage to the product.
6 Getting star ted quickly Fig .9 Slider Controls Light switch: the light can be operated independently from the fan. F an switch: the fan can be run at different speeds depending on the cooking requirements .
7 Caution! Never use abrasiv e or oil based liquid cleaners. General maintenance The manufacturer is not liable for an y damage caused by not following these instructions. The rangehood should be cleaned regularly using warm water with soap or mild liquid detergents.
