INST ALLA TION WHERE TO INST ALL THIS ALARM Minimum coverage for Smoke Alarms , as recommended by the National Fire Protection Association (NFP A), is one Smoke Alarm on every floor , in every sleeping area, and in every bedroom (See “ Regulatory Information For Smoke Alarms ” for details on the NFP A recommendations).
3 6. Line the mounting bracket up over the plastic screw anchors. 7. Screw the mounting bracket to the ceiling or wall through the mounting slots using the two screws provided. 8. Before attaching the Alarm to the bracket, insert the 9V battery (included) into the battery compartment.
