Page 3 IV. FOR AREA OR ROOM O PERATION 1. Place the UV -1500C in the desired ar e a; plug the power co rd into a standard 120-volt wall receptacle. 2. Turn the speed control knob clockwise to turn on the unit and to adj ust the motor/fan speed to the desired airflow.
Page 4 3. Drill a 1/8” hole into the body of the UV -1500C at the marked locati ons. (See Figure 8) 4. Secure the extension cove rs the UV-1500C body with the supplied metal screws (See Figure 9 & 10). 5. Remove the two rubber feet on the si de of the extension cover from bottom of unit to give necessary cl earance for ceiling mount.

Page 6 5. Remove lamp carefully, by sliding the lamp to the left through the hole on the left side of the cham ber. After exposing the connection end of the lamp insid e the cham ber, remove the lamp through the front of the unit. NOTE: When repla cing the lam p, always wipe off lamp with the supplied alcohol wipe after in stalling.
