Page 4 8. Air flow adjustment M U ST be made t o ensure applianc e efficiency. Thi s should be done at the appliance exhaust outlet with a velocity meter, draft gau ge or by the "match test procedure". The match test is in accordance with National Fuel Gas Code A.

This switch will detect exhaust gas spillage out of the draft hood due to a blocked vent system and/or inadequate draft during operation.

Connect l ow voltage control wiring through ju nction box access hole label ed "24 VAC Control Wiring Only".

Page 9 AIR FLOW ADJUSTMENTS 1. To properly adjust the venter air fl ow, loosen the inlet ring screws and open the choke plate approximately 1/2 to 3/4 open. (S ee Figure 9) Start the heating appliance following the manufacturer specified proce dure, and set the thermostat to call for heat.
