Prepar e the switch c ontroller bay Remove the switch contro ller bay faceplate or ex isting switch controller T o remove a bay’ s faceplate: Loosen the faceplate’s two Phillips mo unting scr ews unti l they dis engage from the chassis, th en remove the facep late.
Quick Instal l Guide 7 C613-04031 -01 REV B When inserting a switch cont roller , take care to slide the back-pan el along both guides at an equal rate. If a switch controller becomes tight, it must not be forced. Instead, gently withdraw the cont roll er and try again, taking extra car e to keep the controller aligned with the guides.
8 SwitchBlade Switch Contr oller C613-04031- 01 REV B For DC chassis models, ensure that: • The corr ect DC terminal blocks on the chassis’s r ear panel are wir ed. The blocks should corr espond to PS U bays t hat have PSUs i nstalled. • The DC termi nals are wired to the correct polarity .
