Quick Instal l Guide 5 C613-04029 -01 REV C Installing A Chassis All AC and DC versi ons of this equipm ent must be earthed. Follow these steps to install a chassis: 1. Read the safety infor mation The SwitchBlade Safety and Statutory Information booklet includes all releva nt safety infor mation.

Remove any packaging and protective material Inside the chassis: Check that the internal spaces ar e free of packaging and protective material. Outside the chassis: Che ck that all vents ar e free from obstr uction.
Quick Instal l Guide 7 C613-04029 -01 REV C 7. Secure the blank faceplates Press each faceplate home (unti l its front panel engages, or nearly engages, the threaded holes inside the chassis). Use the captive Phillip s screws to secure each faceplate to the chassis (two screws per faceplate).

Quick Instal l Guide 9 C613-04029 -01 REV C Slide the fan tray out of the chassis, making sur e to keep the tray in a straight alignment so that it doesn’t jam. When removi ng fan trays, avoid conta ct with spinning fan bla des. Contact may cause personal i njury or fan d amage.
