3 Cet appareil, destiné à un usage exclusivemen t domestique, a été co nçu pour conserver et congeler des aliments. Respectez impérativement les consignes suivantes. Nous déclinons toute respon- sabilité et toute garantie en cas de no n-respect de ces recommandations pouvant entraîner des dégâts matériels ou corporels.
4 Pour limiter la consommation électrique de votre appareil: - Installez-le dans un endroit approprié (voir chapitre «Installation de votre appareil»).

6 Cet appa reil est conç u pour évi ter l’accum ulation de gi vre à l’intérie ur. Un systeme interne permet de faire fondre le givre , qui se transforme en eau.
7 La porte s'ouvre normal ement vers la gauche (charniè r e à d r o i t e ) ; s i v o u s v o u l e z o u v r i r l a p o r t e v e r s la droite, vous pouvez modifier l e sens d'ouvert ure en suivant les indicati ons données ci-dessous.
8 Réversibilité de la poignée - Si besoin est, enlevez la couverture en plastique (A) (dessin R6). - Dévissez la poignée du côté gauche et replacez- la sur le côté droit. - Effectuez les trous de fixation ( diamètre 2,5mm) en utilisant comme référence la poignée.
9 Seule une installation correcte de votre appareil respectant les prescriptions qui vous sont données dans ce «guide d’installation et d’ut ilisation» vous pe rmettra de conserver vos aliments dans de bonn es conditions, et avec une consom mation d’énergie optimisée.
10 Pour votre sécuri té, il est impéra tif qu e vous vous conformiez aux indications données ci-dessous. L’installation électrique doit être conforme à la Norme NF C 15-100, en particulier pour la prise de terre.
11 Fonctionnement de l'électronique Le tableau de commande situé sur le fronton de votre appareil comporte: - 1) Ecran digit : indication de la température - 2) voyant rouge : alarme températ.
12 Signification des symb oles et fonctio ns pouvant ap paraître sur vo tre écran Mise en marche et r églage de l’appareil FR Réglage de la température du congélateur • Réglage au degré près entre -27°C et -17°C de la température demandée.
13 Signification des symbo les et foncti on s pouvant appara ître sur votre écran ATTENTION La température interne de votre congélateur dé pend étroitement de la température ambiante, de la fréquence d'ouverture de la porte, de la quantité et de la température des aliments que vous aurez mis dans votre congélateu r.
14 Votre con gélateu r peut êtr e équip é de la fonction "Twist ice". Cet équipement sert à fabriquer 2 4 glaçons en même temps. Enlevez le tiroir à glaçons A en tirant sur les côté s. - Remplissez le s bacs à glaçons (dessin R1 ) aux trois quarts avec de l'eau.
15 Votre congélateur peut être équipé de zones spécifiques destinées à la conservation de certains aliments: Plateau pour fruits fragiles* Plateau amovible (dessin R1) qui peut être placé sur n'importe quel tiroir de largeur standard.
16 Votre appareil domestique vous permet de congeler des aliments : il en abaisse la température rapidement à cœur et vo us pouvez ainsi les con server plus longtemps. La surgélation es t un processus industriel plus rapi de et plus intense que la congélation domestique.
17 Viande fraîche Nous vous conseillons de décongeler complètement la via nde avant de la cuisiner, afin d ’éviter qu’elle ne cuise plus vite à l’exté rieur qu’à l’intéri eur, à l’exc eption des petites t ranches pané es, qui peuvent être sautées direct ement à feu doux/m oyen, et des viande s bouillies.
18 Aliments cuisinés La durée de conservation des plats cuisinés diminue si vous v o u s s e r v e z d e l a r d o u d e b a c o n p o u r r e l e v e r l e s p l a t s .
19 Fruits Les fruits de vront être recou verts de su cre ou de sir op, suivant les cas. La qua ntité de sucre à utiliser pour la conservation est d’environ 250 gr. po ur 1 kilo de fruits . Les sirops sont uti lisés dans des pourcentage s variables; on les prépare en faisant bouillir de l’e au sucrée.

21 Vous pouvez décongeler des alimen ts de cinq façons différentes: - en les mettant plusieu rs heures dans le réfrigé rateur - en les laissant décongeler doucement à température ambiante - au.
22 Avant toute opération d'entretien, débranchez votre appareil. Ne tirez pas sur le cordon d'alimentation, mais sa isissez directement l a fiche.
23 Bruits de fonctionnement normaux Afin que la température choisie reste constant e, votre appareil décl enche régulièrement son moteur. Les bruits qui en r ésultent sont des br uits de fonctionnement tout à fait normaux , ils diminuent automatiquement dès que votre co ngélateur a atteint la tem pérature souhaitée.

26 This appliance is intended for domesti c use only. It has been designed fo r preserving and freezing food. The following instructions are for your ow n safety and should be observed without fail.
27 To reduce your appliance’s electrical consuption: - Install it in a suitable place see " Installation of your appliance" section). - Leave the door open as little as possible. Do not place food that is st ill hot in your freezer , particularly in the case of soups or dishes that release a lot of steam.

29 This appliance has been designed and manufactured to avoid frost accumulating inside it. A system automatically melts away any frost and the water produced flows through a small pi pe into the container provided, where it evaporates a way. You do not need to de-ice the appliance yourself.
30 The doors normally open to th e left (hinges on the righ t); if you wish to ope n the door to the ri ght, you can modify the direction in which it opens by fo llowing the instructions be low. To ensure correct installation, please scrupulously follow the directions and the sequence of operations below : 1.
31 Handle reversibility - If present, remove the plastic cover (A) (draw- ing R11). - Unscrew the handle from the left side and reposition it on the right. - Using the handle as reference, drill fastenin g holes (2.5 mm in diameter). - Attach the handle using self-tapping screws.
32 Your appliance must be installed in compli ance with the instructions given in this "Operating and installation instructions manual" in order to keep your food under optimum conditions and with optimal energy consumption. - The appliance should be insta lled in a dry, well-ventilated room.

37 Your freezer can be fitted with a "Twist Ice" function. This produces 24 ice cubes at the same time. Remove the ice cubes drawer A by pulling on the four sides.
38 Your freeze r may be fitte d with specific ar eas designed for storing certain foodstuffs: Fragile fruit tray* A removable tray (Drawi ng R1) , which can be placed on any standard width drawer. Thi s tray enables you to store small items of food and fragile fruit such as , red currents and bilberries, etc.
39 Your domestic appliance enables you to freeze food: it lowers its core temperature rapidly and you can th erefor e keep it longer. Deep-freezing is an industrial process that is quicke r and more intense that domestic freezing. The products you purchase from the shops are deep-frozen.
40 Fresh meat We re commend tha t you defr ost mea t com ple tely bef ore c ooking i t so as t o avo id th e exter ior c ooki ng quicker than the interior, exce pt in the case of sm all breadcrumb ed items, which c an be sautéed direc tly over a low to med ium heat, and bo iled meats.
41 Cooked food The length of time you can st ore cooked dishes redu ce s if you use bacon or smok ed ham to season dishes. Put them directly on the hob or in the oven without defros ting them. Vegetables We recommend that you blanc h the vegetables with steam so tha t they do not lose their vitamins and mineral salts in the cookin g water.
42 Fruits Fruit must be co vered with suga r or syrup, as appropr iate. The amount of su gar to use is arou nd 250g for 1 kilo of fruit. Syrup s are used in v arying perce ntages; th ese are prepa red by boil ing sugared water.
43 Do not put fresh food next to food that has alre ady been frozen to avoi d causing the f rozen food to warm up. The maximum weight of food that you can freeze over 24 hours is shown on the info.
44 You can defrost food in five different ways: - By putting them in refrigerator for several hours - By leaving them to defrost gently at ambient temperature - In a conventional oven at a very low temperature (40/50°C) - In a microwav e oven - By cooking them immediately Defrosting them in the refrigerator is the slowest but safest method.
45 Disconnect your appliance prior to perf orming any maintenance operation. Grasp the plug directly, instead of pulli ng on the power cable. Cleaning your appli ance We recommend that you clean and disinfec t your appliance regularly for improved hygiene and to keep your food completely safe.
46 Normal operating noises So that the selected temperature remains constant , your appliance regularl y switches off its motor. The resultant no ises are quit e normal operating no ises. They reduce automatically as soon as your freezer reaches the desired temper ature.
47 Noises, inconv eniences or minor breakdowns EN PROBLEM ADVICE Frost forms inside your appliance - be careful not to open your ap pliance’s door too often, and not to leave it open. The external walls are warm - this is quite normal. It stops co ndensation forming on the outside of your appliance.
