Quick Instal l Guide 5 C613-04049- 01 REV B 5. Remove an existing PSU or FOM Disconnect the power cord befor e r emoving the PSU . The PSU and switch ma y over heat or be damaged by dust and debri s if bays ar e left uncover ed. Loosen the two Phillips scr ews on the PSU or FOM until the scre ws disengage fr om the switch chassis (see Figur e 1).
6 A T -PWR01 & A T -PWR01-80 C613-04049- 01 REV B 8. Apply power to the PSU For AC Models: Read the A T -PWR01 Safety and St atutory Information booklet before connecting a PSU to an external AC power source. A copy o f the safety booklet is included with each PSU.
Quick Instal l Guide 7 C613-04049- 01 REV B 4. Connect the positive feed to the + (positiv e) terminal and the negative feed to the - (negative) terminal. T ighten the terminals to between 2.4 and 4.0 Nm (21.3 and 35.4 lbf in). Check that the PSU terminals are wir ed to the correct polarity .
8 A T -PWR01 & A T -PWR01-80 C613-04049- 01 REV B If the PSU does not function as expected, follow th ese steps: 1. Check all cable connections are corr ect and secure. 2. For DC models, check that the standby switch has been pr essed and is in the ON position.
