6 HO W T O USE CORD ST ORA GE HOOKS CORD RET AINER HANDLE COLLAPSE BUTT O N RESET BUTT ON HANDLE RELEASE PEDAL RESET LIGHT 3 Cord Retainer When preparing to use vacuum, firmly push the electrical cord down into the cord retainer . This will place the electrical cord out of the way while you vacuum.
7 HO W T O USE A CCESSORIES 1 Collapse the handle from the upright position. Press handle release button and rotate handle down and against the body of the cleaner until it loc ks onto the body . The dusting brush fits on both the hose and the wand with a b uilt-in crevice tool.

9 T o Chang e Dust Cup Pleated Filter NO TE: T urn off the switch and unplug the electrical cor d before changing the pleated filter . Never operate the vacuum c leaner without the dust cup or the pleated filter . HINT : When c leaning new carpet for the fir st time, cup will fill quic kly .

Flip the power nozzle back upright and remove the hood. NOTE: The reset button cover (circled) is spring loaded so it may become displaced when you remove the hood.
