DO NO T OIL the motor or the brush roll. The motor and brush roll are permanently sealed and lubricated. T o reduce the r isk of fire, electric shock, or injur y: • Do not use outdoors or on wet surf aces . • Do not leave v acuum c leaner when plugged in.
Cord Retainer When preparing to use vacuum, firmly push the electr ical cord down into the cord retainer . This will place the electrical cord out of the wa y while y ou vacuum. Handle Collapse Button T o collapse the handle from the upr ight position, press handle collapse button, rotate handle do wn.
T o Clean the Pleated Filter: 1. Remov e dust cup from cleaner body . See above illustr ation (a). 2. Remov e dust cup lid by gr asping lid handles and lifting up . 3. T o release the pleated filter from dust cup lid, press latch in the bottom lid handle .
HO W T O MAINT AIN (continued) 5 Brush Roll As the brush roll rotates, it s weeps and combs the carpet nap . Remov e hair and threads from the brush roll so it continues brushing the car pet nap . Check brush roll occasionally f or hair or string that ma y hav e wrapped around dowel.

Dispositivo de retención del cordón Cuando se prepare para usar la aspiradora, enganche el cordón eléctrico dentro del dispositivo de retención. Esto lo va a mantener fuera del camino mientras aspira. Botón para doblar el mango P ar a dob lar el mango , presione el botón y haga girar la parte superior del mango hacia abajo.
4 MANTENIMIENT O PRECA UCIÓN: Apague el interruptor de corriente y desenchufe el cordón eléctrico antes de cambiar el filtro plisado. No encienda la aspiradora si no ha colocado el recipiente para el polvo y el filtro plisado. CONSEJO: Cuando se limpia una alfombra por primera vez, el recipiente para el polvo se lleva enseguida.
MANTENIMIENT O (continuación) 5 Cepillo circular A medida que el cepillo circular gira, realiza un barrido y cepillado del pelo de la alfombra. Retire el pelo y los hilos que se acumulan alrededor del cepillo para que continúe cepillando la alfombra.

ENTRETIEN (suite) 5 Rouleau-brosse En tournant, le rouleau-brosse balaie et peigne les fibres de la moquette. Enlevez cheveux et fils du rouleau-brosse pour qu’il continue à peigner les fibres. Vérifiez régulièrement le rouleau- brosse pour voir s’il n’y a pas de cheveux ou des fils enroulés sur le rouleau.
Il est très facile de voir quand le godet à poussière est plein et doit être vidé. Enlevez le godet à poussière du corps de l’appareil. Retirez le couvercle du godet à poussière en le prenant par ses poignées. Ensuite, videz les débris dans une poubelle.
Retenue du cordon Lors de la préparation de l’aspirateur pour l’emploi, poussez fermement sur le cordon d’alimentation pour l’enclencher dans la retenue du cordon.
