7 Stopping Y our Dishw asher Y ou can stop your dishwa sher anytime d uring a cycle. 1. Open the door sli ghtly . 2. W ait for the spraying action to stop. Then open the door all the way , if needed. 3. Close the door to contin ue the cycle. OR 1. T urn the cycl e control knob slowly clockwise u ntil you hear water drai ning.
8 Loading Bottom Rac k The bottom rack is des igned for plate s, pans, casse roles, and utensils. Items with cooked-on or dried-on food should be loaded with soil ed surfaces faci ng inward to the sp ray . (See recommended loading pat tern s shown.) 9 DISHW ASHER USE Deter gent Di spenser The det ergent dispenser has 2 sec tions. The P re-W ash secti on empties de tergent into the di shwasher wh en you close t he door . The Main Wash section aut omaticall y empties dete rgent into the dishw asher du ring t he main wash.
10 Filling the dispenser The rinse aid dispense r holds 6 oz (175 mL) of rinse aid. Un der normal c onditio ns, this will la st for abou t thr ee mon ths. Y ou do not have to wait until the dispense r is empty to re fill it. T ry to keep it fu ll, bu t be carefu l not t o overfi ll it.
11 Canceling a Cy cle Y ou can cancel a cycl e at any time. 1. T urn the cycl e control knob slowly clockwise u ntil you hear water drai ning. Let the dishwash er drain complete ly . 2. Open the door . 3. T urn the cycle con trol knob to Of f. Chang ing a Cy c le or Setting Y ou can change a cycle anyt ime during a cycle.
