4 LOCA TING Y OUR COOLER This new design Essic k cooler may be installed as a bot- tom or side air outlet cooler . The cooler must be securely f astened to a frame or pad mount. A roof kit is av ailable from Essick. A duct must be attached to the cooler outlet.
5 1. Remove both louv ers and set them where they will not fall. See pg. 11. 2. Remove f our louver clips on side opposite motor . 3. Remov e a reser voir b y pushing the water crossov er tube from the grommet and lifting out the reservoir . 4. Remov e the second reser voir as abov e.
6 INST ALLA TION Lift at cabinet cor ners. The cooler may be lifted by putting a bar or strap through the panel hole and lifting by means of the bar or strap . LIFTING COOLER CA UTION: DO NO T LIFT ON THE LOUVERS. REMO VE THE LOUVERS BEFORE LIFTING. DO NO T LIFT ON THE CENTER OF THE CABINET FLANGES.
7 INST ALLA TION ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS The wiring must comply with local codes. If you are not f amiliar with the codes or wiring practices, get prof essional help. Use only an Essick ECR-5 or ECR-7 w all mounted switch. This new cooler does not require pre wetting the pads bef ore star ting cooling and does not hav e a pump .

9 IMPOR T ANT NO TE: When checking amperage with the ampmeter , all louv ers must be in place in the cooler , otherwise incorrect setting of the drive pulle y will occur .
