26 Scanning a Photo or Documen t Scanning a Photo or Document Y ou can use your Epson S tylus Photo RX595 Seri es to scan a photo or document and save it on your co mput er or other device. Y ou can even restore and correct photo graphs as you scan (see page 27 ).

32 Maintaining Your All-in-One Replacing Ink Cartridges Make su re you have a new ink ca rtr idge be fore you b egin. Y ou mu st instal l new cartri dges immediatel y after removing the old ones. Caution: Do not ope n ink cartrid ge pac kages until y ou ar e ready to in stall the ink.
Maintaining Your All-in-One 33 4. Remo ve the cartri dge from the package, but be careful not to touch the green chip on the edge. 5. Remo ve the yellow tape from the bottom of the ink cartrid ge. Caution: Do not remo ve any other l abels o r seal s, or ink will l eak.
