Replacing the Lamp How to replace the lamp User's Guide "Replacing the Lamp" Y ou will need the provided accessor y screwdriv er or another flathead screwdriver . T urn off the power , wait f or the cool down period to end (about 30 seconds) then disconnect the power cab le.
Loosen the tw o lamp fixing screws. Lift the handle and pull out the old lamp. 1 2 If the lamp has broken, request a replacement lamp from EPSON, or the place of purchase.
Install the new lamp. Install the lamp co ver . • Install the lamp securely . If the lamp cov er is remov ed, the lamp turns off automatically as a safety precaution. Moreover , the lamp will not tur n on if the lamp or the lamp cov er is not installed correctly .
After replacing the lamp , be sure to reset the Lamp Operating Time from the configuration menu. Do not reset the Lamp Operating Time except after the lamp has been replaced. If you do , the Lamp Operating Time will no longer be displayed correctly . The configuration menu is displa yed.
