1 Installing Printer Software for Macintosh Connecting the EPSON Stylus CX3200 Befor e you start, make sure y ou set up your EPSON S tylus ® CX3 200 and installed ink and p aper , as desc ribed o n the Start Here she et. Then follow t hese ste ps to connect the EPSON S tylu s CX3200 to your Macintosh.
2 Installi ng Pr inter Software on Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x 1. Ins ert the EPSON S tylus C X3200 CD-R OM in your CD-R O M or D VD drive . 2. Dou ble-click EPSON on yo ur deskto p, if necessary . T hen double -click EPSON in the window that opens. 3. Read and agree to the license agreement to continue the installation.
3 Installing Additi onal So ftware for Ma c OS 8.6 to 9.x 1. After your Macintosh restar ts, double-c lick the EPSON CD-R OM icon to open it, if nece ssary , then do uble-click EPS ON . Y ou see t his screen : 2. Click Install and follow the on-s creen instr uctions to i nstall each program.
4 5. Open the C hoose r from the Apple menu. Sele ct CX32 00 , then select your USB po rt and tu rn on ba ckgr ound p rinti ng. 6. Close the Chooser . Y ou ’ re ready to copy , scan, and print.

9 ■ Unpl ug the Sty lus CX and ref er serv icing t o qualifie d ser vice pe rsonnel under the follow ing co nditio ns: i f the power co rd or plug is d amag ed; if li quid has e nter ed the produc t; if the produc t has been droppe d or the case damaged; i f the prod uct does not operate no rmally or exhibit s a distinct change in performance.
10 ■ If you remove an ink cartridge fo r later use, protect the ink supply area from dirt a nd dust and stor e it in the same en vironment as t he Stylus CX. Note that there i s a valve in the ink supply port, making cover s or plugs unnece ssary, but c are is needed to prevent the i nk from staining items that the cartri dge touches.
