3 Introduction R ATING L ABEL L OCATION : The rating label is located on the hopper lid. I MPORTANT S AFETY D ATA : Please read this entire Owner’s Manual before installing or operating this ENVIRO Pellet Stove. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, bodily injury or even death.
4 Introduction SOOT: Operation of the stove with insufficient combustion air will result in the formation of soot which will collect on the glass, the heat exchanger , the exhaust vent system, and may stain the outside of the house. This is a dangerous situation and is inefficient.

Specific a tions S AFETY D EVICES : Air Bleeder Valve (shown in Figure 3) : Located under unit top of the unit. T o remove the top f ollow these steps (refer to Figure 4): 1. Open hopper lid and remove the two (2) screws at the front. 2. Loosen the two (2) screws at the back of the top.
8 Ash drawer Ash drawer cover Specific a tions T o remove the cabinet sides, f ollow these steps: 1. Loosen the three (3) screws from both sides on the back of the appliance (see Figure 7).
This is used to regulate the airflow through the pellet stove. • On the low heat output settings, push the slider all the way in. • On the high heat output pull the slider out or until a good fire is achieved. A good fire is in between a fire with lazy black tipped flames and a forced fire (very quick, shorter flames).
10 Inst alla tion I NSTALLATION OF E XPANSION T ANK : The expansion tank MUST be installed before this unit can be used. 1. Remove the expansion tank fr om the box located in the hopper . 2. Loosen the four (4) screws pointed out in Figure 11. Lift the back grill up and remove it from the unit.
1. Do not terminate the vent in any enclosed or semi-enclosed areas such as a carport, garage, attic, crawlspace, narrow walkway , closely fenced area, under a sundeck or porch, or any location that can build up a concentration of f umes such as stairwells, covered breezewa y , etc.

17 Inst alla tion O UTSIDE V ERTICAL I NSTALLATION : T o accomplish an outside vertical installation, follow steps 1 through 9 in the Inside V ertical Installation section and then finish it by performing the f ollowing: 10. I nstall a tee with clean out on the outside of the house.
Inst alla tion T HERMOSTAT I NSTALLED : If the unit has been placed in the HI / L OW mode, the unit will be taken to a low or idle set ting when the thermostat is not calling for heat. When the thermostat calls for heat, the unit will go to the setting that is displayed on the control board Heat Indicator .
19 T roubleshooting DO NOT: • Hold the ON / OFF BUT TON; this is a momentary contact switch and can be damaged if held down too long. • Service the stove with wet hands. The stove is an electrical appliance, which may pose a shock hazard if handled improperly .
