7 Maintenance And Ser vice R OUTINE M AINTENANCE : At least once a year , run through the following procedures to ensure the system is clean and working properly . Check the burner to see if all the ports ar e clear and clean. Check the pilot to make sure it is not blocked by anything.
8 R EPLACING G LASS : The glass in the replace is a high temperatur e ceramic. If the glass is damaged in any way , a factory replacement is required (see P ARTS L IST - C OMPONENTS ). W ear gloves when handling damaged glass door assembly to prevent personal injury .

The placement of the logs is not arbitr ary . If they are positioned incorrectly , the ames can be “pinched” and will not burn correctly .

Important note: When the unit is turned on for the rst time, It should be turned onto high without the fan on for the rst 4 hours. This will cure the paint, logs, gask et material and the other products used in the manufacturing process.
