OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STARTING: Place crumpled paper on t he stove floor and cover with ki ndling. Open the draft fully and ignite. Hold the door slightly a jar for a few minutes and then close tightly. A fter the wood is burning b rightly add more dry wood and, when the fire is hot, use the draft control to adjust the burn rate.
DISPOSAL OF ASHES: If you let the ashes accumulate two or three in ches on the floor they tend to burn themselves up. Open the small trap door located on the floor of the unit. Push the ashe s that have accumul ated into the hole were the ashes would drop into the ash pan.
PEDESTAL AND LEG INSTALLATION Please read and understand these instruction s before installing ash pan and leg option. Failure to follow these instructions caref ully c ould cause personal injury or prop erty damage. All screws are pre installe d on the base of the unit.
