3 | ENGLISH 1.1 Functions and features Turn your living ro om into a movie theatre ! The EM7167 deliver s outstanding movie and sound quality and takes full a dvantage of your (Full) HD televi sion. You can use the USB and cardr eader interface to play your media , or make use of a built-in SATA hard disk.
4 | ENGLISH 3.1 Connecting the E M7167 using HDMI (Reco mmended) The best image qua lity can be obt ained by connecting the EM716 7 to your television using HDMI. Note: Make sure your media pla yer and televi sion are both turned o ff before connecting your cable s.
5 | ENGLISH 4.4 Toslink (SPDIF) If you have a digita l receiver with a Toslink (SPDIF) connection, you can enjoy the media player’s digital sound during movie and music play. Simply con nect the Toslink cable to the To slink connection on your digital re ceiver and on the ‘ Optical’ conn ection of the media play er.
6 | ENGLISH 1. Go to ‘Setup’ 2. Select ‘Audio’. 3. ‘Night Mode’ is set to ‘Off’ by defa ult. If you w ant to use the EM7 167 during night time it is recommende d to set ‘Nig ht Mode’ to ‘On’ . 4. AC3 Output is set to ‘SPDIF R AW (Bitstream)’.
7 | ENGLISH 7.0 Play ing Media Once the EM7167 ha s been setup and you have copied your media to the interna l hard disk, you can play media fro m the internal hard disk, card reader or fro m connected USB dev ices. The EM7 167 is able to play DVD’s w ith full menu suppor t, MKV, AVI and many more.
8 | ENGLISH subtitles can onl y be used without having the subtitles in the MKV itse lf. You can always put the SRT file into the M KV container us ing ‘MKVMERG E’ which you can download from the internet. Hint: If you want to pla y a movie with a separate subt itle file, ‘SUB-T’ button on the remote control.
9 | ENGLISH 8. Select the folder where yo u want to copy to and pr ess the ‘OK’ but ton. You can also create a new folder by pres sing the ‘Zoo m‘ button. Give thi s new folder a name and confir m this name. Now select the new folder and press the ‘OK’ button.
