8 T urn the knob to adjust the volume. Using Headphone s (Headphones not included) Plug in hea dphones (3.5mm stereo mini-plug) to the PHONES ja ck on ba ck cabinet. When hea dphones are plugged in, the spe a ker is automatically disconnected. Ba ss Booster Slide X-BASS switch to the “ON” position fo r extra ba ss.
9 COMP ACT DISC PLA YBACK IMPORT ANT ! The unit should not be carried around during CD playba ck. If the unit is bumped a nd shocked during playba ck, the disc may skip or stop. 5. Press the PLA Y/P AUSE button. Playba ck will begin on tra ck 1 “PLA Y” a nd “tra ck no.
10 Progra mmed playba ck enable s tra cks on a disc to be played in a ny desired order . Up to 20 tra ck s ca n be progra mmed. Note : Progra mming ca n only be done when the player is in stop mode. PROG RAMMED PLA YBACK RANDOM PLA YBACK This plays the songs on the disc in ra ndom order .
11 REPEA T PLA YBACK This function allows a single tra ck or all tra c ks on disc to be played repeatedly . TO REPEA T THE SAME TRACK Press the REPEA T button once during playba ck. The CD display will indicate “RPT”. TO REPEA T THE WHOLE DISC Press the REPEA T button twice until “ALL RPT” displays.
