4 P R E P AR A T I O N F O R U S E U n p a c k i n g a n d S e t U p • This carton contain s the main unit, tw o speakers, the pedestal stand, and the remote control handset. Carefully remove all the components from the carton and remov e all packing materials form the component s.
5 A t t a c h i n g T h e P e d e s t a l S t a n d 1.) Pla ce the m ain unit f a ce down on a flat surfa ce a s shown. 2.) Positi on the pedes tal ba s e so that th e 4 guide h ooks on the ba se slide i nto the 4 slots on th e ba ck of th e main unit.
6 If you ev er need to remove the main unit f rom the pedestal: 1. ) Pl a ce th e entir e uni t fa ce dow n on a flat su rfa ce . 2.) Turn t he pedestal base locking s c re w ‘ c o u n te r - c l o c k w i s e’ t o loosen. 3.) Sl ide the ped estal out ward a nd lift it up to completely re m ove it from t he main unit.

3 7 C A R E A N D M A I N T E N AN C E C o m p a c t D i s c C a r e • To rem ove a disc from its storage case, press down on the center of the cas e and lift the disc out, holding it carefully by the edges. • Fing erprints a nd dust shoul d be carefully wi ped off the d isc’s rec orded surfa ce with a soft cloth.
3 8 C a r e O f T h e C a b i n e t • If the cabine t be c omes dusty wipe it wit h a soft dry dust cloth.
