Connector Panel & Interfaces T ouchmonitor Connections 1. Connect the VGA video cables between the m onitor ’ s VGA input connectors and your VGA video source, respectively . T ighten the video cable’s screws for best performance. 2. Connect the USB touch cable between the m onitor ’s USB connector and your PC’ s USB port.
Inst alling the T ouch T echnology Sof tware Drivers Some software inst allation is required for your touchmonitor to work with your computer . The drivers for the Windows 7, XP , V ista, W e POS, and 32-bit Server 2003 and 2008 operating systems are provided with y our touchmonitor on a CD.
For Windows XP , V ista, Server 2003, Server 2008, and WEPOS installations, inst all the “USB T ouchscreen Driver s” when prompted: User Manual: 1517L, 1717L SW601708 Rev A, Page 8 of 27.
For Windows 7 installations, check the “Inst all dr iver” box under “Elo USB Interfaces – Other T ouchscreens” After accepting the end-user license agree ment, the drivers will finish installing. Reboot your computer after the inst all is complete.
Chapter 3: Mounting General Mounting Information The OSD text can be rotated through the OSD menu to better suit your mounting orientation. Rear VESA Mount For the 15 inch touchmonitor , a four-hole 75x 75mm mounting pattern for M4 screws is provided on the rear of the monitor .
For the 17 inch touchmonitor , a four-hole 75x 75mm mounting pattern for M4 screws is provided on the rear of the monitor . Remove the stand using a Phillip s screwdriver to access this mounting interface. The VESA FDMI-compliant counting is coded: VESA MIS-B, 75, C.
Base Mount For the 15 inch touchmonitor , a threaded three-hol e mounting pattern for M4 screws is provided on the bottom of stand base fo r mounting or securing.
For the 17 inch touchmonitor , a threaded three-hol e mounting pattern for M4 screws is provided on the bottom of stand base fo r mounting or securing.

V ideo A display’s native resolution is its wid th and height measured in number of pixels. Generally , for best performance, an image displayed on this moni tor will look best when your computer ’s output resolution matches this monitor ’s native re solution, which is 1024 x 768 for the 15 inch, and 1280 x 1024 for the 17 inch.
