24 Chapter 3—Getting Around the User Interface 03D—Owner’s Manual About the User Inter face The 03D user interface is both straightforward and easy to use. Apar t fr om the GAIN controls, [P AD] switches, scene memory buttons, and a few other butt ons, there are very few dedicated controls.
Display 25 03D—Owner’s Manual Selected function —This area of the display shows the name of the function selected using the Setup , Channel Control, and F ader mode butt ons. The following functions can be selected. Selected channel —This area of the display shows the select ed channel.

Phase 39 03D—Owner’s Manual Phase The Phase function reve rses the phase of an input sig nal by 180 degrees. The phase can be set for input channels 1 to 24 and the left and right channels of stereo input c hannel. Phase reve rsal can be used t o c ompensat e for inc orrectly wired balanc ed cables and microphones.

Surround Pan 63 03D—Owner’s Manual 2+2 Surround Mode The 2+2 surround pan mode uses four channels: fr ont left, front rig ht, rear left, and rear rig ht. The front speakers ar e fed from the 03D stereo output, while the rear speakers ar e fed fr om bus outs 3 and 4.
