• Do not dry in this appliance items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles (if there is no special drying programme), rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows fit- ted with foam rubber pads. • Oil-affected items can ignite spontane- ously, especially when exposed to heat sources such as in a drying programme.

G You cannot open the appliance d oor when the symbol is on. You can open the door only when the symbol g oes off. If the programme is completed b ut the symbol stays on : • The 'Rinse Hold' function is on. • There is water in the drum. H The child safety lock sy mbol comes on when this device is activat ed.
The value shows the total number of the rinses. The indicator bar is fu lly filled when you se t the maximum number of rinses. P The Stain symbol comes on when you activate the function. The display shows only the spin speeds available with the set pro- gramme. • Deactivate the spin phase. • Activate the 'Rinse Hold' f unction. Set this function to pr event fabric creases. The appliance does not drain the water when the programme is completed.

4. To use liquid detergent, turn the flap down. With the flap in the po sition DOWN: – Do not use g elatinous or thi ck liquid detergents. – Do not put more liquid detergent than the limit showed in the flap. – Do not set the prewash phase. – Do not set the delay start function.

FLUFF IN THE FABRICS During the washing and/or drying phase, some types of fabric, (sponge, wool, sweat- shirt) could release fluff. The released fluff could stick to the fabrics during the next cycle. This inconvenient in creases with technical fabrics.

Disconnect the applia nce from the mains supply before you clean it. DESCALING The water we use contains limescale. If it becomes necessary, use a water softener to remove limescales. Use a special product made for washing machines. Obey the in structions that you find on the packagin g of the manufacturer.
• The appl iance makes an unusual no ise because of the blockage of the drain pump. • The display shows an alarm code be- cause of the problem with water drain. Warning! • Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. • Do not remove the filter while the ap- pliance operates.
THE INLET HOSE FILTER AND THE VALVE FILTER It could be necessary to clean the filters when: • The appliance does not fill with water. • The appliance fills with the water for a long time. • The indicator of button 6 flashes an d the display shows the related alarm.
TROUBLESHOOTING The start of the appliance does not occur or it stops durin g operation. First try to find a solution to t he problem (re- fer to the table). If not, contact the service centre. With some problems, the acoustic signals operate and the display shows an alarm code: • - The appliance does not fill with water.

Vorsicht! Verwenden Sie keinen Alkohol, keine Lösungsm ittel und keine Chemikalien. WASCHGANG ZUR PFLEGE DER MASCHINE Bei Waschprogrammen mit niedrigen Tem- peraturen kann etwas Waschmittel in der Trommel zurückbleiben. Führen Sie regel- mäßig einen Waschgang zur Pflege der Ma- schine durch: • Entnehmen Sie die Wäsche aus der Trommel.
• Im Display wird ein Alarmcode angezeigt, weil es Probleme beim Abpumpen des Wassers gibt. Warnung! • Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. • Entfernen Sie den Filter nicht wäh- rend des laufenden Betriebs. Reini- gen Sie die Ablaufpumpe nicht, wenn das Wasser im Gerät noch heiß ist.
11. Bringen Sie die Ablaufpumpenklappe wieder an und schließen Sie diese. 1 2 ZULAUFSCHLAUCHFILTER UND VENTILFI LTER Die Filter müssen in folgenden Fällen gerei- nigt werden: • Es läuft kein Wasser in das Gerät. • Das Wasser läuft sehr lange in das Gerät ein.

Leeren Sie die Ablaufpumpe. Siehe No- tentleerungsverfahren . 6. Befestigen Sie den Zulaufschlauch wie- der, wenn die Ablaufpumpe entleert ist.

11. Ziehen Si e die Kunststoff-A bstandshal- ter heraus. 12. Setzen Sie die Kuns tstoffkappen in die Öffnungen. Diese Kappen finden Si e im Beutel mit der Gebrauchsanleitung. Warnung! Entfernen Sie vor der Montage des Geräts alle Verpackungsmaterialien und Transportschrauben.
