818 22 15-00/7 9 Remove the transport fittings fr om the storage shelves: 4. Slide the fittings securing the shelf forward to the thicker section on the edge of the storage shelf. 5. Slide the storage shelf far enough forward so that it can be hinged downwards and the fittings can be removed fr om the guides.
Installation 10 818 22 15-00/7 The Refriger ator/Fr eez er Needs Ventilation Air is fed under the door through the vent slots in the base and is exhausted upwards along the back wall. T o ensure proper air cir culat io n never cover or alter the vent openings.

After tr ans port on its side, the appliance must be left to stand for 2 hours befor e putting it into operation.

818 22 15-00/7 23 Holiday Mode In the holiday mode the temperatur e for the refrigerator is appr oxi- mately +15 °C. In the holiday mode it is ther efore possible to leave the door of the empty refriger ator closed during periods of extended absence.
24 818 22 15-00/7 Contr ol and Information Systems The contr ol and information systems consist of temperatur e displays, an optical warning display and an acoustic warning. The system warns if: – when the appliance door is open – the temperature in the fr eezer compartment is too high; – functional faults with the appliance.

28 818 22 15-00/7 Fr eezing Except for the bottom drawer , which serves only for storage purposes, all compartments and drawer s in the freezer compartment ar e suitable for freezing. War n i n g ! • Before foods are fr ozen, the actual temperatur e in the freezer compartment must be -18°C or colder .
