INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION 1. INTRODUCTION Before starting to insta ll the refrigerato r, please read these in structions carefully in o rder to obtain a thorough understanding of w hat is required.

Flue Venting Kit The flue gass es must be v ented directl y to the outside air. Only the ELECTROLUX flue venting kit (supplied with th e refrigerator in the United Kin gdom) is recomm ended for this purp ose.

When the ope ning has been made in t he caravan wall, the ex tension tube (F) may need to be shortened to suit the par ticular installa tion. To determine if thi s is necessary, fit the fl ue top (G) to the to p of the central t ube of the boiler casing a nd secure it by means of th e screw (H).

22. DEFROSTING Frost w ill gradually form on and unde r the ice-tray shelf . It is a mistake to assu me that an accumu lation of frost give s a colder cabinet. Fo r the most efficient operatio n, the refrigerator should be defrosted regula r ly- usually a bout once a week or te n days depending o n t he particular con ditions of use.
If the refrigerator is not cold enough it may be because: 1. The vent ilation is inade quate owing to ob jects such as wire mesh or winter cov ers blocking the ventilation pas s ages . 2. The evapora tor is frost ed up. 3. The temper atu re co nt ro l set ti ng is in correct.
