COOLMA TIC COOLMA TIC Button The COOLMATIC function is suited for quick cooling of large quantities of goods in the r efrigerator , e.g. drinks and salads for a party . ☞ 1. The COOLMATIC function is switched on by pr essing the COOLMATIC button. The yellow light illuminates.
14 Switching off the appliance ☞ To switch off, pr ess the ON/OFF button for approx. 5 seconds. This will result in a countdown fr om "3" to "1" taking place in the temperatur e display . On r eaching "1" the fridge will switch off.
15 V ariable Inner Door The door compartments can be pulled up and removed, and inserted at other positions as needed. Interior Accessories Humidity Contr ol On some models, there is an adjustable air grille in fr ont of the shelf above the fruit and vegetable compartments. The opening in the ventilation slots can be adjusted with a slider . Slider in right position: Ventilation slots opened.
Corr ect storage For physical reasons, ther e are differ ent temperatur e regions in the fridge. The coldest region is on the lowest stor age shelf. Warmer r egions are the top stor- age shelf, the vegetable drawer and the storage compartments on the door .
Freezing and storing fr ozen food 18 • Allow warm food to cool down before freezing. The warmth will cause increased ice formation and incr ease the power consumption.
19 Pr eparation of Ice Cubes ☞ 1. Fill the ice cube tray 3/4 full with cold water , place it in the freezer compartment and leave to freeze. 2. To loosen the fr ozen cubes, either bend the ice cube tray or hold it under running water for a few seconds.
Cleaning and Care 20 Cleaning and Car e For hygienic reasons the appliance interior , including interior acces- sories, should be cleaned regularly . Warning! • The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning.
