3 A. FOR THE USER 1. WARNINGS Keep this us er’s manual wit h yo ur washing machine. If you sell your washing machine or give it away, make sure that it is accompanied by its user’s man ual. The new user ca n then be informed of how the washing machin e operates and read re- levant warnings.

5 3. CONFIGURATION OF YOUR APPLIANCE When your appliance is connect ed to the electrical network, turn the p rogramme selector on th e Cotton posi- tion.

7 4. HOW TO DO A WASH? Before the first wa sh in your washing machine, we recom- mend that you shou ld do a preliminary wash at 90 °C with detergent but wit hout any washing to clean the tub . 4.1. Loading the washing • Lift the machine cov e r . • Open the drum b y pressing on the loc king button A; the two fl aps automatically se parate .
8 4.6. Select the desired options Depending on the pr ogramme selected only certain options are avai lable and visibl e during the sele ction period. In addition not all options are compatible with each other. The in compatible options symbols will di- sappear from t he display windo w.
9 4.6.8. Start the programme Press the Start/Pau se button. The relevant light will stop fl ashing. The messag e correspo nding to the phase that is running will ap- pear in the display window. If you have selected a delayed star t the washing machine will start its countdown.

Sorting and preparing your washing • Sor t the washing by t ype and care symbol (see chap- ter 6.4: Inte r national symbols f or care of te xtiles): nor- mal wash f or strong w ashing that can resist en ergetic wash and spin; delicate wash f or delicate washing th at should be trea ted more ca refully .

13 7. CARE AND CLEANING Do not do any cleaning op eration until you have unplu gged the washing machine. 7.1. Descaling the washing machine Normally there is no need t o descale the washing mach ine if the deterge nt was correctly pro portioned.

17 3. INSTALLATION 3.1. Unpacking Packing used to p rotect internal par ts of the washing machine during tra nsport must be removed before the wa shing machine is put into service for the first time.
18 - Screw on the bottom fitting of the water in let hose as shown in fig.1 and fig.2. - Connect the f eed hose connector onto the w ater inlet tap . - T ur n on the water inle t tap . The water inlet ho se cannot be extended. If it is too short, please contact the Aft er Sales Department.
