1. SAFETY INFORMATION Before the installation and us e of the appliance, carefully read the supplied instructio ns. The manufacturer is not responsible if an incorrect in stallation and use causes in- juries and damages. Always keep t he instructions with the appliance for future reference.
2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 Installation • Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts. • Keep the transit bolts. When you move the appliance again you must block the drum. • Do not install or use a damaged appli- ance. • Do not install or use the appliance where the temperature is less than 0 °C or where it is exposed to the weather.
• Do not put a container to collect possi- ble water leaka ge under the a ppliance. Contact the Service to ensure which accessories can be used. 2.3 Care and Cleaning WARNING! Risk of injury or damage to the appliance. • Before maintenance, deactiv ate the ap- pliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
3.1 Child safety device When you activate this device , you cannot close the door. This prev ents children or pets to be closed in the drum. To activate the device, turn it clockwise, until the groove is horizontal. To deactivate the de- vice, turn it counter-clockwise, until the groove is vertical.

• The washing programme stops with the water in the drum. The drum turns reg- ularly to prevent the laundry creases. • The door stays locked . You must drain the water to unlock the door. • The display shows the indicator . To drain the water refer to ‘At the end of the programme’.
• If you decrea se the washing tempera- ture, the Eco Info stripes increases. • If you put more clothes, the Eco Info stripes increases. Some advices to h ave the most effi- cient setting: • Put a laundry load of 4 kg or more. • Set the Time Manager indicators or .
If no language is set after several seconds the appliance operates with the default language. Until you do n’t set a language, the display asks you to set a language each time you activate appliance. Change the language after the first activation. Press or at the same time for some seconds to enter the language setting.
In the programmes with the maxi- mum declared load, if you put too much laundry, the text bar tells that the load is completed. In the other programmes, the MAX indicator flashes and the text bar tells that the maximum load is exceeded . To have the best consumption and performance remove some items.
Liquid or powder detergent 1. A 2. 3. B 4. • Position A for powder detergent (factory setting). • Position B for liquid detergent. When you use the liquid detergent: – Do not use gelatinous or thick liquid detergents. – Do not put more liquid then the maximum level.
• The drain pump can operate for a short time when the appliance fills water. After approximately 15 minutes from the start of the programme: • The appliance adjusts automati- cally the programme duration agree with the laundry load. • The display shows the new val- ue.
– The door lock indicator is on. The door stays locked. – You must drain the water to open the door. To drain the water: 1. If necessary, de crease the spin speed. If you set , the appli- ance only drains. 2. Press . The appliance drains the water and spins.

9. 1 2 11.7 Cleaning the inlet hose and the valve filter 1. 2. 3. 4. 45° 20° 11.8 Emergency drain Because of a malfunction, the appliance cannot drain the wate r. If this occurs, do steps (1) through (9) of 'Cleaning the drain filter'. If necessary, cl ean the pump.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. 2. Close the water tap. 3. Remove the water inlet hose. 4. Put the two ends of the inlet hose in a container and let the water flow out of the hose. 5. Empty the drain pump. Re fer to the emergency d rain proc edure.
Problem Possible soluti on Make sure that the connectio n of the water inlet hose is correct. The appliance does not drain the water. Make sure that the sink spigot is not clogged. Make sure that the drain hose has no kinks or bends. Make sure that the drain filt er is not clogged.
Problem Possible soluti on Use special products to remo ve the stubborn stains be- fore you wash the laundry. Make sure that you s et the correct temperature. Decrease the laundry load. After the check, activate the appliance. The programme continues from the point of interruption.
