INSTALLATION • This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it. • When unpacking the appliance, check that it is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use it and contact the Service Centre. • All packing and transit bolts must be re- moved before use.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Your new appliance meets all modern requir ements for effective treatment of laundry with low water, energy and detergent consumption. Its new washing system allows to- tal use of detergent and reduces wa ter consumption so saving energy.
CONTROL PANEL Below is a picture of the control panel. It shows the program me sel ector dial as well as the buttons, pilot lights and the display. These are presented by relevant numbers on the following pages.

During the washing cy cle the display shows the temperature icon animated to indicate that the appliance has started the heating phase of the water in the tub.
In the event of operating problems, some alarm codes can be displayed, for exam- ple (see paragraph «What to do if...»). • Delay Time value 2.10: Soil degree icons • Intensive • Normal • Daily • Light • Quick • Super Quick • Refresh • Super Refresh (see paragraph «Select Time Manager op- tion»).
PERSONALISATION ACOUSTIC SIG NALS The machine is prov id ed with an acoustic device, which sounds in the following ca- ses: • at the end of the cycle • if there is a fault. By pressing the 5 and 6 buttons simultane- ously for about 6 seconds , the acoustic signal is deactivated (except if there is a fault).
SELECT THE REQUIRED PROGRAMME BY TURNING THE PROGRAMME SELECTOR DIAL (1) Turn the programme selector dial to the re- quired programme. The washing machine will propose a temperature and automati- cally select the maximum spin value provi- ded for the programm e you have chosen.
START THE PROGRAMME BY PRESSING BUTTON 8 To start the selected programme, press the button 8 , the green pil ot light of th e button 8 stops blinking. The icon 2.8 appears on the display to indicat e that the appliance starts operating and the door is locked.
AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMME The machine stops au tomati cally. Three blinking zeros ( ) appear on the dis- play. The pilot light of button 8 goes off. Some acoustic signals sound for a few minutes. If a programme or an option that ends with water left in the tub has been set, the icon 2.

EXTERNAL CLEANING Clean the exterior cabin et of the applianc e with soap and water only, and then dry thoroughly. Important! Do not use meth ylated spirits, solvents or similar pr oducts to clean the cabinet. CLEANING THE DISPENSER DRAWER The detergent dispenser drawer should be cleaned regularly.
Warning! 1. Disconnect the mains plug f rom the mains socket. 2. Do not remov e the filter while the appliance operates. Do not clean the drain pump if the water in the appliance is hot. The water must be cold before you clean the drain pump. To clean the drain pump: 1.
11. Close the drain pump door. Warning! Never remove the pump cov er during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle, and is empty. When refitting the pump cover, ensure it is se- curely re-tightened so as to stop leaks and young children being able to remove it.
Make sure that the temperature is more than 0 °C before you use the appliance again. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by low temperatures. WHAT TO DO IF… Certain problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engi- neer.

This new motor en- sures a softer start and more even distribution of the l aundry in the drum when spinning, as well as increased stability of t he machine.

2. Remove the power supply cabl e and the draining and inlet hose from the hose holders on the rear of the appl i- ance. 3. Unscrew the three bolts. 4. Slide out the relevant plastic spacers. 5. Open the porthole and remove the pol- ystyrene block fitted on the door seal.
The rubber feet are pa rticularly recommen- ded on floating, slippe ry and wooden floors. Mount the rubber feet to prevent vibration, noises and displacement of the appliance during operation. Read carefully the inst ructions supplied with the kit. WATER INLET Warning! This appliance must be connected to a cold water supply.
The drain hose may be extended to a maxi mum of 4 metres. An additional drain hose and joining piece is available fr om your local Service Centre. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION Information on the el ectrical connection is given on the rating plate on the inner edge of the appliance door.
